We designed Tap Telehealth to be for everyone. And honestly, we designed it to be so simple to use that anyone could pick it up, and start to benefit from it immediately. But I never imagined how much it would transform and impact the communities that we serve. What we have realized is that when a service is truly affordable and accessible, a whole community can be positively impacted in ways that we are just now starting to realize.
The Numbers Don’t Lie: High Utilization Rates
You see, when we first launched in our pilot city we knew that this was going to be something that would help, but we just didn’t know how much. We were blown away when the city manager came back and told us that Tap Telehealth was the number one most utilized service in the entire city! Yes, that is more than police, fire, and parks and recreation! And what was even more impressive is that at least 50% of all of the households had used us at least once in that first year, and that percentage has only been increasing since then. We are reaching, and impacting entire communities and making a difference in how they think about medical care.

Let’s be honest, that level of engagement is unheard of! If you look at national trends with other telehealth providers, our utilization rates just completely blow them out of the water! Most telehealth services just have not seen this level of engagement and success. So, how are we different? The answer is that we understand the need and the problems that communities face, and we have put our platform directly into the hands of those that need them most. We are not just another telehealth service, we are a true community partner!

The secret to our success isn’t just our technology; it’s the human touch.
